Objective To analyze the value of electromyography (EMG) and musculoskeletal ultrasound in the diagnosis of median nerve wrist injury. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 25 CTS patients admitted to our hospital from May 2020 to May 2022. The CTS group was named, and 25 healthy subjects who underwent electromyography and musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations at the same time were included as the control group. All subjects underwent EMG and musculoskeletal ultrasound examination.Compare the EMG and musculoskeletal ultrasound examination indicators between the CTS group and the control group. Results:DML in CTS group was higher than that in control group, while MCV,CMAP, SCV and SNAP in CTS group were lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).SMI and TLI in CTS group were lower than those in control group, while RL in CTS group was higher, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The CSA, anterior and posterior diameters, and left and right diameters in CTS group were higher than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Both EMG and musculoskeletal ultrasound are of high diagnostic value in median nerve wrist injury.Median nerve function and morphology should be considered for patients with unclear disease.
