Effects of levosimendan on cardiac function and N terminal brain natriuretic peptide in patients with chronic heart failure
Objective:To study the ef ects of levosimendan on cardiac function and the levels of N terminal brain natriuretic peptide (NT-pro-BNP)in patients with chronic heatr failure(CHF)in acute aggravation status.Methods:55 patitents with CHF in acute aggravation status were randomly divided into routine treatment group(n=25),levosimendan group(n=30,received levosimendan based on rouG tine treatment),The cardiac function and the lvels of NT-pro-BNP wre observed in al groups before and after treatment.Result:The total ef ective rate in the levosimendan group was higher than the routine treatment groupl(P<0.05),and the SV and LVEF were significantly improved than routine treatment group (P<0.05);there were significant decreased in the levels of NT-pro-BNP in the levoG simendan group with the routine treatment group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Levosimendan can improve cardiac function CHF patients, and reduce the levels of NT-pro-BNP.
