In response to the problem of subsynchronous oscillation in the wind thermal bundling system of wind turbines, this study takes the doubly fed wind farm connected to the series compensation system of thermal power units as the research object.Under the condition that the doubly fed wind farm does not cause subsynchronous oscillation, the mode damping method is used to quantitatively analyze the torsional vibration effect of the thermal power unit shaft system before and after the connection of the doubly fed wind farm with different control parameters, operating conditions, and the number of grid connected units. The research results show that the connection of doubly fed wind farms reduces the attenuation coefficients of torsional vibration modes in various shaft systems of thermal power units, which is beneficial for alleviating shaft torsional vibration of thermal power units.A simulation model is built in EMTDC/PSCAD to test the accuracy of the results.
