Quality characteristics of oil shale in the 1st member of Upper Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation in Well JFD5 in Songnan oil shale,Songliao Basin
In this paper, the authors taking the Well JFD5 in the Songnan oil shale of Songliao Basin as the discussion object, and the oil shale in the first member of the Upper Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation is evaluated by core observation and sample testing. The research and analysis show that the oil shale in Well JFD5 mainly occurs in the lower part of the first member of Qingshankou Formation. The first member of Qingshankou Formation has No.1,No.2 and No.6 layers. The burial depth of No.1 layer is 459.55-465.35 m,the thickness is 5.80 m,the average oil content is 5.4%,and the highest oil content is 11.4%.The burial depth of No.2 layer is 470.15-475.65 m,the thickness is 5.50 m,the average oil content is 7.5%,and the highest oil content is 11.7%.The burial depth of No.6 layer is 449-452 m,the thickness is 3.00 m,the average oil con-tent is 4.8%,and the highest oil content is 5.8%.The No.1,No.2 and No.6 layers of Qingshankou Formation are the pre-ferred layers for in-situ mining. It belongs to the ultralow sulfur-low sulfur oil shale. The oil shale rock segment is mainly charac-terized by the negative correlation between oil content and small volume mass, ash and volatile matter, and the obvious positive correlation between total organic carbon content and oil content. This can be used as an evaluation and replacement index for the quality of oil shale.
