Geological features and prospecting marks of the Kurland gold deposit in Chuhe Prefecture,Kyrgyz Republic
The Tianshan metallogenic belt in Kyrgyzstan is an important part of the metallogenic belt in the whole Central Asia.It is also the core part of the"central Asian gold belt"connecting China and abroad, producing a large number of gold deposits. The Kurland gold deposit is one of them. The ore body is controlled by the NE and near east-west mineral-ized alteration zone, the presence of pyrite mineralized quartz veins is a direct indicator for mineral exploration. At present,a total of 6 major gold ore bodies have been found, mainly located in the lower section of the Mingtejin Formation, the ore bodies are mainly controlled by the North South Okotorkyi fracture. The maximum extension of the ore body is 852 metres, with a tendency of 135°-240°,and the inclination angle is 54°-72°.This deposit belongs to a gold-bearing altered rock type gold deposit.
