Geological features and genesis of the Toudaogou pyrite deposit in Yongji County,Jilin Province
The geological features of Toudaogou pyrite deposit in Yongji County are summarized to discuss its genesis. The study shows that the deposit can be divided into two types of ore bodies, one is pyrite body, which is controlled by the pla-gioclase amphibolite of the Tougaogou Formation of the Hulan Rock Group of Paleozoic; The other is magnetite+molybde-nite,which is controlled by the skarn contact zone between the ultrabasic rocks of the Middle Jurassic and the plagioclase amphibolite of the Toudaogou Formation.Combined with the regional tectonic evolution history,it is believed that the Toud-aogou sulfur iron deposit is a composite genesis deposit.During the early Paleozoic arc basin evolution stage, marine vol-canic rock type sulfur iron deposits were formed. In the Middle Jurassic, ultrabasic magma intrusion formed skarn type magnetite+molybdenite ore bodies.
