Research on prospecting prediction of structural superimposed halo of blind ore body in Cuyu gold deposit,Panshi City,Jilin Province
The Cuyu gold deposit is located in Jilin Province, and belongs to the type of volcanic hydrothermal vein gold deposit, whose ore bodies are mainly controlled by NE-trending faults.Significant achievements have been made in geolog-ical exploration of the deep and peripheral areas of the deposit by using the zoning of the primary halo of the Cuyu gold de-posit.Through geological and geochemical analysis a structural superposition halo model of the blind No.8 ore body was es-tablished.The analysis results show a significant correlation between gold(Au)and other sulfur-loving elements,indica-ting that these elements have a common mineralization behavior during the ore-forming process.Through cluster analysis, correlation analysis, and factor analysis, the element combinations related to mineralization were successfully identified, and an element geochemical zoning sequence was established.Based on the signs of the structural superposition halo,it is predicted that there are deep ore bodies in the blind No.5 to No.10,and through drilling engineering verification,it is con-firmed that there are indeed gold ore bodies in the predicted target area. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of the method of structural superposed halo in deep mineral exploration, providing important technical support for future mineral resource exploration.
