Geological features and genesis analysis of silver mines in the area of Humi-Jianguo,Dongfeng County,Jilin Province
In this paper,the authors summarize the geological features of the Humi-Jianguo silver deposit in Dongfeng County to explore its genesis type.Research indicates that the silver ore body is controlled by northwest-trending fault struc-tures.The main ore type is strongly silicified altered rock type,with the ore structure is mainly composed of semi automor-phic to xenomorphic granular structures.The ore texture exhibits a sparse disseminated structure,and the alteration of the surrounding rock mainly includes silicification,sericitization,and pyritization.Based on the comprehensive geological fea-tures such as the morphology,occurrence,ore types,ore composition,and alteration of the surrounding rock,it is prelimi-narily concluded that the genesis type of the deposit is a medium-low temperature hydrothermal altered rock type.
