Genesis and geological features of the Luanmuqiaogou molybdenum deposits in Yongji County,Jilin Province
The geological features of the Luanmuqiaogou molybdenum deposit in Yongji County,Jilin Province were studied to determine its genesis type. The Luanmuqiaogou molybdenum deposit is located within the Qiancuoluo unequal grain granodiorite of the Daheishan composite pluton in the Yanshan Period. The ore type is metamorphosed medium-grained granodiorite type, with thickness variation coefficient 84.72%,and grade variation coefficient 191.21%.The structure of the ore mainly consists of subhedral grain structure and fragmented structure. The texture of the ore mainly consists of disseminated texture,vein-like texture, and lump-like texture. The deposit is located in the periphery of the Daheishan molybdenum deposit, and the two de-posits have partially connected ore bodies. It is inferred that the deposit is a shallow-formed intermediate-temperature porphyry molybdenum deposit.
