Ore-forming geological conditions and prospecting direction of diatomite mine in Quliushu Nangang area,Linjiang City,Jilin Province
In this paper,the geological conditions of diatomaceous earth mineralization,in the Nangang area of Quliushu in Linjiang City are summarized to determine its prospecting direction.Diatomaceous earth is found in the upper section of the Tumenzi Formation,with a burial depth of 65.9 m and a single engineering control thickness of 17.35 m,including GradeⅠ is 3.1 m,Grade Ⅱ is 6m,and Grade Ⅲ is 8.25 m.It formed in a relatively warm and humid climate,dominated by bio-logical sedimentation and freshwater lake sedimentary environment.The Tumenzi Formation and the Cenozoic depression basin based on basalt are the main prospecting directions for diatomaceous earth.
