In 2022,the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the goal of"accelerating the green transformation of development mode and developing green and low-carbon industries".Green and low-carbon are important links in China's economic and social development.As a highly polluting industry,the cement industry accounts for about 70％of the total emissions of China's building materials industry,and is a key area of carbon emissions in the building materials industry.Based on this background,the green transformation of the cement industry is particularly urgent.Taking Conch Cement,a representative enterprise in the cement industry,as a case study,this paper analyzes the motivations,measures and impact of its green transformation on financial performance,in order to provide some enlightenment for other enterprises in the same industry that are engaged in green transformation.
