Digital Economy,Innovation Investment and Green Development
Green development is an important means to achieve China's"dual carbon"goals and high-quality economic development, and the role of the digital economy in green development is increasingly important.Using innovation investment as an intermediary effect, based on panel data from 30 regions(excluding Tibet and Hong Kong,Macao, and Taiwan)from 2011 to 2020,this study uses the entropy method to measure the level of the digital economy and green development level, and employs fixed effects and mediating effects models to empirically study the relationship between the digital economy, innovation investment, and green development. The research shows that the level of the digital economy has a significant positive impact on the level of green development, significantly at the 5%significance level. From the mediating effect results,it can be seen that the digital economy enhances the level of green development through innovation investment, with the mediating effect accounting for 9.96%of the total effect. This study enriches the research on the digital economy and green development, providing theoretical support for the formulation of relevant policies.
