The research of different provenance seedling growth of Juglans mandshurica
The effect of different sowing methods on germination rate and survival rate were investigated and seedling growth of different provenances was observed by taking the 14 representative provenances of Juglans mandshurica in Changbai mountain as the research object. The results showed that there were no significant difference between emergence rate and preservation rate among spring sowing of sand-storage and autumn sowing of green fruit stage (P>0.05).The highest seedling emergence rate by spring sowing of sand-storage and by autumn sowing of green fruit stage were4#, 5#,14#and 7#, 8#, respectively. The preservation rate of the corresponding porvenance was consistent with the emergence rate. The cluster analysis showed that the fourteen provenances can be devided into three class according to 1-year-old and 2-year-old seedlings growth. And seedling in high growth and diameter growth of 4#、14#、13#、5#、8#showed better in class III.
