This article takes Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture(Qiannan Prefecture)as an example to study the winter management mode of tea plantations in mountainous areas through distributing survey question-naires,conducting visits and comprehensive analysis.Research suggests that the ownership of tea plantations,prod-uct structure,and the quality of management personnel determine the winter management mode and level of tea plantations,with product structure playing a decisive role.Suggestions are proposed from the perspectives of govern-ment,enterprises,and tea farmers to improve the winter management level of tea plantations in mountainous areas.
