The practice of cooperatives in China has gone through a century of history.Since the reform and opening up,China's farmers'cooperatives have achieved rapid development under the support and encouragement of relevant legal systems and policies,and have become the organizers of the peasant masses,the activators of rural resource elements,the leaders of rural industrial development and the defenders of farmers'rights and interests,and have played an important role in building a modern agricultural power,helping rural revitalization,and leading farmers to increase their income and become rich.In the new stage of development,it is particularly important to promote the high-quality and healthy development of farmer cooperatives by taking the standardized improvement of farmer cooperatives as the starting point.This paper expounds the functions and roles of farmer cooperatives,points out the deficiencies in the operation of farmer cooperatives,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the high-quality development of farmer cooperatives by taking the improvement of farmer cooperatives as the starting point.
