Marine economy is an important area of Hunchun's economic development,and it is also an important direction for its integration into the Belt and Road.The Belt and Road Initiative has been proposed for over ten years.Hunchun should actively seize the opportunity,vigorously develop the marine economy,and integrate into the BRI with higher quality.Based on the analysis of the theory of regional economic cooperation,the theory of new industrial zones and the theory of growth poles,this paper summarizes the achievements of the Belt and Road in promoting the development of Hunchun's marine economy,mainly including remarkable results in project investment,gradual improvement of transportation construction,rapid development of marine industry,and outstanding achievements in foreign trade,and then examines and analyzes the new opportunities and challenges of the Belt and Road in promoting the development of Hunchun's marine economy.This paper studies and judges the prospect of Hunchun's marine economic development,and proposes the future promoting ideas for the Belt and Road to boost the development of Hunchun's marine economy.The main ideas include"borrowing port to go to sea"to open up the land and sea channels between Hunchun and the countries and regions involved in the BRI,strengthening the construction of smart ports and improving the vitality of Hunchun's marine economic development,taking advantage of the Belt and Road opportunities to enhance and invigorate Hunchun's marine economy,relying on the construction of Hunchun Marine Economy Demonstration Zone to promote regional marine economic cooperation on the Greater Tumen River,leveraging the Polar Silk Road and the New Eurasian Land Bridge to create a new highland for Hunchun's marine economy to open up to the north,and building Hunchun's new quality productive forces in marine field.Accordingly,promote the high-quality development of Hunchun's marine economy.
