Since the new era,China-Russia relations have reached a new historical height,and the cooperation and exchanges between the two countries have also influenced the maritime field.China's Liaoning and Russia's Far East are important coastal zones in the Northeast Asian region,and maritime cooperation between the two regions is conducive to the development of the marine economy,the security of Northeast Asian waters and the governance of the marine ecological environment.However,the maritime cooperation between the two sides is also facing problems such as the unstable international situation in Northeast Asia,relatively low interconnectivity of infrastructure,the need to optimize the marine industry of the two sides,and the lack of effective legal framework safeguards,which impede the further development of the maritime cooperation between the two sides.Therefore,when Liaoning carries out maritime cooperation with Russia's Far East,it should grasp the time and tide,strengthen the cooperative investment in infrastructure construction for port and shipping,pay attention to the cooperative research in emerging marine science and technology,and build a cooperative mechanism to maintain the security of Northeast Asian waters,stay committed to the philosophy of green development for maritime cooperation,so as to provide an excellent model for building a community of a shared future for ocean.
