Construction Effectiveness and Coordinated Paths of"Smart Connectivity"of Xinjiang Customs in the New Era
In the context of the new era,as the province with the largest number of land ports in China,Xinjiang's opening-up is particularly important.Since President Xi Jinping put forward the Initiative on"Smart Customs,Smart Borders,Smart Connectivity"in 2021,Xinjiang Border Customs has made continuous efforts to promote the construction of smart customs and realization of smart connectivity.During this process,the"smart connectivity"infrastructure at borders has been gradually improved,the regulatory mechanisms have been further optimized,and the customs clearance for reservation system have been deepened.However,Xinjiang Border Customs also faced some challenges in the process of building smart connectivity,such as the difference in the level of intelligence of neighbouring countries,the lag in digital security prevention and control policies,and the imperfection of the information coordination mechanism between countries.In the future,smart connectivity at border ports in Xinjiang and even across the country can be promoted by further strengthening customs and inspection coordination,customs zone coordination and customs department coordination,optimizing technical assistance and information sharing,and jointly building digital infrastructure.
