Path Selection of Cross-border Cooperation of Credit Investigation between China and Countries Involved in the Belt and Road
With the deepening of the belt and Road Initiative,it is imperative to promote cross-border cooperation in credit investigation between countries in order to address the risks brought by information asymmetry.This paper analyzes the necessity of cross-border cooperation in credit investigation between China and countries along the Belt and Road,and briefly describes the international experience of cross-border cooperation in credit investigation.Based on the existing organizational model of credit investigation agencies in China,this paper puts forward the principle of step by step,easy first and difficult later,and adopts the parallel mode of official promotion and civil going ahead,to advance the paths of cross-border cooperation in credit investigation between China and countries involved in the BRI.Government departments play a key role in regulating and leading by establishing the cooperation mechanism between China and countries along the Belt and Road,improving the legal system,effectively promoting data circulation,building the information sharing mechanism,improving the supervision system of credit investigation industry and pushing forward the construction of cross-border cooperation platform for credit investigation.From the perspective of private credit investigation agencies,it is proposed to sign cooperation agreements,expand database breadth,research and develop cross-border credit investigation products and services,standardize the whole process of cross-border credit investigation business and foster Chinese-funded credit rating agencies with greater international influence for business advance and expansion.
