A Case Study of the Geographical Practice Activity Design Pointing to Comprehensive Thinking Cultivation
Comprehensive thinking includes element synthesis,spatio-temporal synthesis synthesis and local(regional)synthesis.Geography practice activities include geographical experiments,geographical expeditions and geographical surveys.In the practical teaching of geography in high schools,teachers can correspond to the three manifestations of integrated thinking and different types of geographical practice activities,and achieve the purpose of cultivating students'comprehensive geographical thinking through the design and implementation of geographical practice activities.This paper selects the contents of the three activity columns of soil,population migration and regional culture in the compulsory textbook of high school geography of the PEP edition,and ex-pounds the design ideas and implementation process of three practical activities based on cultivating students'comprehensive thinking:geographical experiments,geographical expeditions and geographical surveys.
