Classroom-Based Formative Assessment in Foreign Language Context under OBE Education Philosophy:Theoretical and Practical Constructs
The OBE(Outcome-Based Education)educational philosophy emphasizes the student-centered,outcome-oriented approach and continuous improvement in teaching and learning, focusing not only on learning outcomes but also on how to assess them.As an effective way to connect teaching and learning,Classroom-based Formative Assessment(CFA)plays an increasingly significant role in the transformation of academic assessment paradigm.Based on the analysis of the theoretical framework and implementation tools and methods of CFA,this paper systematically elaborates on the theoretical and practical constructs of CFA in foreign language context and provides countermeasures for its existing problems, thus providing implications for promoting the research and practice on CFA.
