A Literature Review on the Development of Pedagogical Content Knowledge of Language Teachers
Pedagogical content knowledge(PCK)holds significant importance in influencing teachers'in-structional practices within the classroom.The influence of PCK extends beyond students'learning process and instruction quality.It also assumes a crucial function in fostering the professional development of teachers.To im-prove the linguistic proficiency of students who are learning a second language,it is imperative for language in-structors to possess a thorough understanding of PCK.This literature review aims to enhance the understanding of language teachers and teacher educators regarding the development of PCK in language teaching,ultimately improving instruction quality and promoting teachers'professional development.
