The Application and Prospect of Modern Testing Technology in the Study of Ancient Pottery
This paper briefly describes the application status of modern testing techniques such as 14C"car-bon-14",TL"thermoluminescence",X-ray,microscopy,water absorption rate,apparent porosity,etc.in studying the production age,degree of damage,microstructure,ceramic forming,and firing temperature of ancient pottery.Based on the current application status of modern testing techniques in the study of ancient pottery,the paper ex-plores the application prospects of new modern testing technologies such as electron spin resonance,nuclear mag-netic resonance,and micropore testers in the study of ancient pottery,making the process of ancient pottery re-search simpler,faster,and improving the accuracy of research results,and providing data and information for re-searchers studying ancient pottery.
