An Analysis of the"Repetitiveness"in the Content of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Tertiary and Secondary Schools
The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to"cultivate people with the core socialist values, improve the ideological and political work system, and promote the integra-tion of ideological and political education in primary, secondary, and tertiary schools",which pointed out the di-rection for the ideological and political work in primary, secondary, and tertiary schools in the new era and provid-ed fundamental guidance. At present, although China has achieved fruitful results in the integration of ideological and political courses in primary, secondary, and tertiary schools, there are also problems, especially the problem of"repetition"in the content of ideological and political courses in tertiary schools and secondary schools. The prominent manifestation is the low-level repetition of the content, the failure to achieve a"spiral rise"of knowl-edge,and the repetition of"original identity"and"undifferentiated identity",resulting in limited teaching effects. This article analyzes the positive and negative aspects of this issue from the perspective of Marxist philosophy.
