"Financial support and educating people"is the core content of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.It is also an important means of promoting educational equity and maintaining social harmony.Colleges and universities have enhanced the effectiveness and relevance of ideological and political ed-ucation through the practical education work of financial support.This paper takes the connotation of college counselors'financial support education work as an entry point and discusses its important role in ideological and political education,which is mainly reflected in the enhancement of assisted students'political literacy and val-ues,the promotion of assisted students'psychological balance and emotional health,and the enhancement of stu-dents'learning ability and employment competitiveness.Aiming to provide theoretical supports and practical ref-erences for improving the level and effect of college counselors'financial support education work.
