Research on College Tourism English Translation Teaching in the Context of Cross-Cultural Communication
With the continuous advancement of globalization,cross-cultural communication has become a trend that cannot be ignored.As an important tool for cross-cultural communication,tourism English translation plays an important role in promoting Chinese culture,history,geography and other knowledge,and creating a good national image.Tourism English translation teaching in colleges and universities focuses on practical appli-cations,providing students with career opportunities in the fields of international business,international exchang-es and other fields,and broadening the possibilities for students'future career development.This paper focuses on the teaching of tourism English translation in colleges and universities under the background of cross-cultural communication.It first analyzes the factors that cause thinking obstacles in the process of cross-cultural commu-nication,then explains the ideas of tourism English translation in the context of cross-cultural communication,and finally discusses the the teaching strategies for tourism English translation in colleges and universities,ex-pecting to provide references for relevant personnel.
