On the Linguistic Characteristics of Yi Li from Several Verb Phenomena
YiLi is a pre-Qin classic with a relatively unique content.This paper summarizes the more charac-teristic aspects of the verbs in Yi Li.First,the frequency of high-frequency verbs is very obvious.Second,the syn-onymous verbs are abundant.Third,the original meaning and usage of some verbs are retained,and fourth,some verbs or verb meanings that are rare or not seen in other literature.Through the comparison with other ancient documents,it can be seen that on the one hand,the verbs of YiLi maintain the consistency of verbs with other doc-uments(the core words are the same),but on the other hand,they show more obvious characteristics of archaic,that is,the words or meanings of ancient words are more prominent than those in other literature.It can be in-ferred from this that due to the uniqueness of the content of the record,YiLi retains some contents and words that extend from earlier periods.
