The Discussion on the Internal Logic of the Evolution of the Leadership System in Chinese Colleges and Universities
After constant exploration and adjustment,the president accountability system under the leader-ship of the Party committee has been established as the fundamental system of internal management system of colleges and universities in our country.Based on reviewing the evolution of the leadership system of universities since the founding of New China,this paper concludes that the internal logic reflected in it,which is mainly re-flected that the evolution of the leadership system of colleges and universities is compatible with the changes in the governing mode of the Party,related to the changes in the international and domestic political situation,matched with level of domestic economic development,it is consistent with the requirements of the Party to uni-versities,and the main line is to improve the governance structure of universities.Practice has proved that the president responsibility system under the leadership of the Party committees is an effective system to realize the Party's overall leadership over colleges and universities,and is also the important guarantee for colleges and uni-versities to adhere to socialist education.
