Research on the Teaching Practice of"Output-Oriented Method"in the ESP Course of Applied English Major in Higher Vocational Colleges—Taking the Secretary English Course as an Example
This paper takes secretary English as an example to study the application of output-oriented meth-od in the ESP course of applied English in higher vocational majors.Combined with the basic theory of output-oriented method,the teaching design method of ESP applied English course in higher vocational colleges is ex-plored,including the driving link to stimulate students'interest,the promotion link to promote learning and the evaluation link of testing the applied English effect,so as to improve the teaching effect of ESP course and en-hance the practical application ability of applied English students in higher vocational colleges.The teaching prac-tice results show that the output-oriented method can effectively ignite students'enthusiasm for learning,signifi-cantly enhance students'practical application ability of professional knowledge,and achieve remarkable results in improving the quality of ESP teaching in higher vocational colleges.
