The Enlightenment of American After-School Service Evaluation Standard on Physical Health Management of Chinese Adolescents—Taking"Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Standards"as an Example
Comprehensive evaluation criteria can lead to a partnership among families,schools and commu-nities to build a positive and healthy ecological environment for adolescents.With the high trust and recognition of parents and the high promotion of federal policies,American HEPA standard,based on the values of sustain-ability,health,and equity,effectively link families,schools,and communities,guiding after school programs to create a healthy ecological environment for youth diet and physical activity.The microsystem emphasizes the standardization of program content and staff training to provide a professional and high-quality health curricu-lum;the mesosystem spreads a culture of shared health through interaction and communication;and the exosys-tem provides safeguards and support to find a professional and reliable supply of after school program resources.During the process of after school program partnerships building,non-governmental organizations play a bonding role,community space is fully utilized,and parents show trust and recognition.The American HEPA standard brings useful insights for the management of physical fitness and health of Chinese adolescents.
