An Overview of the Current Research Status and Development Trend of Project-Based Learning in English
This study selected the SSCI Core Collection and CNKI database in the past decade with the theme of"English project-based learning"for retrieval,and analyzed it with the help of software such as CiteSpace.The study found that English project-based teaching and core literacy key words as high-frequency,high-centrality,and high-emergence key words deserve attention,focusing on the connotation research,learning design research,and learning effectiveness evaluation research of English project-based learning,and it presents the research trend of English project-based learning,which emphasizes high-order thinking,focuses on learning construction,highlights interdisciplinary integration,and points to conceptual understanding.Finally,three en-lightenments are drawn from the creation of a dual-line integrated technical support,the focus on subject-based practical learning design,and an innovative literacy-oriented evaluation system,with a view to providing refer-ence for the research on project-based learning in primary and secondary schools in China.
