Research on the Innovation of College Japanese Teaching Mode under the Concept of STEAM Education
Originating in the United States,the STEAM education theory aims to cultivate students'multidis-ciplinary comprehensive literacy in science,technology,engineering,arts and mathematics.This educational con-cept emphasizes its interdisciplinary,practical and innovative characteristic,which is helpful to enhance students'comprehensive quality and capability to solve practical problems.This paper aims to explore how to improve stu-dents'interdisciplinary innovation capabilities by integrating the STEAM education concept into"College Japa-nese"classes.Moreover,with the introduction of the STEAM education concept to Japanese education,knowl-edge in different fields such as science,technology,engineering,and arts can be combined with Japanese lan-guage learning.In this way,students majoring in Japanese learn to think and innovate across disciplines during their learning processes,so that the"interdisciplinary innovation capability"of comprehensive foreign language talents can be enhanced.
