In this paper,the measuring method of involute spline ring gauge rod spacing is studied by means of length measuring machine and T-shaped measuring ball.By analyzing the geometric relationship between the"T-shaped"measuring ball and its spacing,the conversion relationship between the rod spacing measured by the non-theo-retical optimal diameter measuring ball and the corresponding rod spacing of the theoretical optimal diameter is derived.
