Topology Optimization of Automobile Tailgate Lock Ratchet Pawl Based on Variable Density Method
Under the premise of ensuring the structural strength and safety performance of the vehicle, the light-weight design of the vehicle improves the power performance and endurance by reducing the mass of the vehicle, and reduces carbon emissions. In this paper, the self-suction tail lock of an SUV is taken as the research object, the static analysis of the pawl and latch is carried out in Ansys Workbench, and the variable density method and Topology Optimization module are adopted to carry out topological optimization and structural design with the mini-mum mass as the goal. The results showed that the total mass of the two was reduced by 13.98g,and the weight was reduced by about 25.61%.
