In this paper,a rapid volume measurement method for horizontal tank and a portable horizontal tank vol-ume level measurement device are designed.Combined with the advantages of capacity comparison method and geo-metric measurement method,the rapid weighing of the detection medium and the automatic reading of the liquid lev-el height of the measured container are carried out.The results show that the method and device can not only effec-tively improve the detection speed,but also greatly reduce the labor intensity of verification personnel.
