In this paper,a method for the determination of pyridine content in Diosamine by gas chromatography with automatic vertical oscillation ethanol extraction was established and verified by experiments.The results showed that the linear correlation coefficient of pyridine was 0.99998 at the concentration of(0.1～2)mg/mL,the detec-tion limit was 5mg/kg,and the quantitation limit was 15mg/kg.At 100mg/kg,200mg/kg and 400mg/kg,the recov-ery ranges from 95.1％to 104.1％and the relative standard deviation ranges from 1.8％to 2.6％.It can be seen that this method has good purification effect and high recovery rate,and is suitable for batch determination of pyri-dine content in Diossmin.
