Transparent Superhydrophobic Films Based on Perfluorosilane-Modified Silica
Hydrophobicity plays an important role in outdoor display equipment. The properties of perfluorosilane-modified silica films on glass substrates were investigated, and the effects of the concentration of ethyl orthosilicate on the hydrophobicity and transmittance of the films were studied. The results show that the preparation of HFC-decyl triethoxysilane modified films with a concentration of 15%can achieve superhydrophobic properties of 154.1° and average transmittance of more than 98%at(400~800)nm wavelength, which is feasible.
