The production capacity and supply-demand situation of China ＇s PVC industry in the year 2011 wcrc introduced. The current situations of domestic PVC industry wcrc analyzed. The development situations of PVC production technologies in rcccnt years wcrc described as well as the hot issues in PVC industry. It was indicated that the present situation of PVC industry could bc gen- eralized as ＂one constraint＂, ＂two impacts＂, ＂three pressures＂ and ＂four contradictions＂. Based on the above, the developing trend of our country ＇s PVC industry was predicted. And it was also indi- cated that the production capacity of PVC industry was seriously excessive, the competition was be- ing further intensified, and the adjustment of industrial structure was accelerated.
