A safe method for recycling and utilizing calcium carbide dust was introduced.The calci-um carbide produced in various stages of the acetylene production process was collected and subjected to react with water in the reactor to generate acetylene gas.This method solved the problem of calcium car-bide dust control in the PVC industry and the bottleneck of safety and environmental protection issues in production line,filling the technical gap of safe,effective,continuous and stable recovery of calcium car-bide dust in the industry.This method had broad prospects of industrial promotion and application.
