Continuous flow preparation of tert-butyl peroxydecanoate
The process was introduced of safely producing high purity tert butyl peroxydecanoate at high yield using tert butyl hydroperoxide and neodecanoyl chloride as raw materials,utilizing the efficient mixing and strong heat exchange capacity of microreactors.The effects of alkali concentration,reaction temperature,and residence time on the reaction process were investigated.The results showed that the optimal experimental conditions were KOH∶TBHP∶NDCL=1.35∶1.2∶1(molar ratio),alkali mass fraction of 20%,reaction temperature of 70℃,residence time of 1 min,and the yield was 91.78%.
