摘要
《环游地球新录》是晚清李圭所作的域外游记,其中有不少关于域外民俗尤其是西方民俗的书写,涉及物质生产民俗、物质生活民俗、岁时节日民俗等.李圭对物质生产民俗和物质生活民俗关注得最多,这与当时的社会环境及其工商业代表身份有关.李圭以惊羡与揭弊、反观与自省、固守与开放为视角对域外民俗进行书写,出发点是寻求文化交流及利国利民之举,其域外民俗书写补充、延伸了中华文化的空间,对当时的中国产生了一定的影响.
Abstract
New Records Around the Earth is an overseas travel notes written by Li Gui in the late Qing Dynasty,which contains many descriptions of exotic folklore,particularly Western customs,covering material production,material life,seasonal festivals,and more.Among these,Li Gui was primarily interested in folklore about material production and material life,which are tied to the social context and his identity as a representative of industry and com-merce.He wrote on overseas folklore from the perspectives of reverence and revealing prob-lems,reflection and self-examination,and persistence and openness.Li Gui's motivation of writing was to promote cultural exchange and benefit his nation and people.His writing on overseas folklore supplemented and expanded the scope of Chinese culture,and had a certain impact on China at that time.
