Research on the Coupling Coordination Between Urban Resilience and the Development Levels of Regional Economy in the Yangtze River Delta Urban Cluster
The coordination degree between urban resilience and the development levels of regional economy is an important indicator for measuring high-quality regional development.Taking 27 central cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban cluster as the research object,an index system is constructed to evaluate urban resilience and the development levels of regional economy, using the entropy value method to conduct an analysis of coupling coordination model based on the panel data from 2011 to 2022,and measuring the coupling coordination level between urban resilience and regional economic development. The results indicate that urban resilience and the development levels of regional economy both show an upward trend year by year, with the development levels of regional economy slightly outperforming urban resilience,in terms of spatial evolution,it is characterized by high in the east, low in the west, contiguous development, low in the north and south edges, and significant differentiation; The coupling and coordination degrees between the two systems show a synchronous development tendency with the gap between the indicators gradually closing, and the overall trend is Shanghai as the center to the city cluster periphery circle decreasing in terms of spatial pattern; When it comes to rating coordination, there are more primary coordinated cities than intermediate and advanced coordinated cities. As a result,it is recommended to propel the coordinated development between urban resilience and the development levels of regional economy by integrating urban resilience concepts, leveraging spatial agglomeration effects, alleviating internal differences within urban clusters, and creating highly coordinated and high-quality urban clusters.
