Spatial-temporal Evolution and Synergy Patterns of Tourism Economic Linkages in the City Cluster in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River
Based on the cross-section data from 30 node cities in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River in 2010,2015,2019 and 2022,the modified gravity model and social network analysis are used to analyze the spatial-temporal evolution and the synergy patterns of the tourism economic linkages in the city cluster in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The study shows that the tourism economic linkages of the city cluster gradually strengthened from 2010 to 2019,but linkages weakened significantly in 2022;The network centrality analysis shows that Xiantao,Yueyang and Jiujiang are second only to Wuhan,Changsha and Nanchang in terms of the centrality degrees, and the first three cities have gradually developed into key transfer stations for the transmission of tourism resources in the region; And the analysis of cohesive subgroups shows that the cities of Wuhan,Changsha, and Nanchang has comparatively weak linkages in terms of the cohesive subgroups, indicating that the existing collaboration mechanisms among the three are inadequate.Based on this, countermeasures and suggestions are proposed from four aspects:rational planning and policy regulation, optimizing regional tourism networks, strengthening the tourism transportation infrastructure, and making full use of geographical advantages.
