From Shenxian Poems to See the Complexities of Folk Beliefs in the Six Dynasties
Shenxian Poems is a folk song used to worship various gods in the Jiankang area in the Six Dynasties.Observing the gods people worshiped,there are both natural gods associated with witchcraft,and Taoist gods.From the worship ceremony to see,it not only follows the customary mode of witchcraft rituals of greeting gods-worshiping gods-sending gods,but also imitates the Taoist ritual of Zhaijiao.This reflects the characteristics of the integration of witchcraft and Taoism,as well as the complexities of folk beliefs in the Six Dynasties.The generation of the characteristic is mostly the result of two factors,the creative group and cultural integration,which highlights the contemporary and regional characteristics of the cultural beliefs in Jiankang area.
