The Risks of Wild Growth:Issues and Prevention Posed by the"Fandom"among Young Students in Internet Ideology
Idol worship is a frequent phenomenon among young students.With the advancement of network media technology,a variety of social networking sites have created an ideal arena of public opinion for followers seeking celebrities.Under the impetus of cultural and entertainment capital,fans are gradually assembling to establish a"fandom"with high loyalty and organizational strength.The strong emotional dependence of the"fandom"on idols is easy to be instigated and exploited,the hegemony of"either-or"rhetoric seriously pollutes the network ecology,and the"fandom economy"also breeds distorted consumption,these are potential risks posed by the"fandom"to the network ideology.On the basis of summarizing the existing research results,this paper collects and organizes theoretical materials on the"fandom culture",and joins the Sina Weibo topic groups,Douban groups,and WeChat groups of the"fandom"participating in the topic creation,support activities and others of the"fandom"so as to deeply comprehend the behavioral logic of the"fandom",and to consider strategies to deal with the network ideological hazards of the"fandom".At the same time,the following recommendations are put forward:to promote the"Qinglang"action to govern network social platforms;to strengthen supervision and constraints to reshape the norms of the cultural and entertainment industry;and to do a good job in education and guidance to reduce the possibility of young students"entering the fandom".
