Research on Strategies for Developing New Media Literacy among College Students in Public Emergencies
In the era of new media,improving the media literacy of the students in colleges and universities is not only a practical need to promote the comprehensive development of students themselves,but also an objective requirement for colleges and universities to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents,and also necessary for building a strong cyber nation.Starting with the connotation of new media literacy,this paper analyzes the characteristics of new media literacy of college and university students in the face of sudden public emergencies,and explores the importance of increasing students'new media literacy.Furthermore,from the three dimensions of official media in colleges and universities,teachers and curriculum settings,specific strategies for developing the new media literacy of students in sudden public emergencies are explored:The official media of colleges and universities should provide voice direction in responding properly to public emergencies;Teachers should be good at studying and applying the knowledge of modern media literacy;Setting new media literacy courses are required.
