Abundant clinical and experimental researches have verified that the pain threshold of human beings and animals possess a significant characteristic of circadian rhythm.Furthermore,the secreted level neurotransmitters,hormones involved in acupuncture analgesia and neural activities also have circadian rhythm.The acupuncture therapy not only plays an analgesia role,but also regulates the circadian rhythm function.Exploring acupuncture analgesia mechanism from time characteristics could provide a brand new sight and idea,which could get an important progress.
