Exploring the dynamic pathogenesis of primary liver cancer in traditional Chinese medicine based on the"triple energizer gasification"theory
The theory of triple energizer gasification refers to the changes in the qi activities of distribution and metabolism of essence, blood, body fluids in the upper energizer, middle energizer, and lower energizer of the body. The gasification of the upper energizer is related to the lung's function of diffusion, purification and descending, and the gasification of the middle energizer is related to the water and grain transportation, transformation and receiving of the spleen and stomach, while the gasification of the lower energizer is related to the conveyance and dispersion of the liver, and the storage of the kidney. This article analyzes the pathogenesis dynamics of primary liver cancer based on the theory of triple energizer gasification, which is characterized by"qi stagnation-excess of pathogens-exuberance of cancer toxin-divorce of yin and yang".It is believed that cancer toxin is not only a pathological product owing to the imbalance of yin and yang in the human organs, but also a pathogenic factor that further damages the body's function. In the initial stage of cancer toxin, emphasis should be placed on the treatment of the triple energizers separately, combined with detoxification, promoting qi movement, resolving phlegm, dispersing stagnation, and promoting blood circulation. With the progression of the disease,it is necessary to take care of the middle energizer, coordinating the upper energizer and the middle energizer, and combine benefiting qi and strengthening body resistance with attacking and expelling pathogens. In the final stage of the disease,it is necessary to balance yin and yang, prolong lifespan, and prevent the dispersion of yin and yang. The thinking of differentiation and treatment of liver cancer based on the triple energizer gasification integrates the multiple ideas of disease location, disease nature, and disease situation, more beneficial for its clinical application.
