Based on the theory of"ascending and tonifying qi when it being deficient",Professor Jiang Deyou discusses the etiology,pathogenesis and syndrome characteristics of chronic atrophic gastritis from the view of"qi deficiency".With his treatment methods based on the theory of"ascending and tonifying qi",he puts forward the ideas of syndrome differentiation and treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis to guide their specific application,such as regulating qi movement of spleen and stomach,giving consideration to both organs and their function,dispersing the liver and regulating lung qi,and warmly activating kidney qi.
