Relationship between cervical vertebra and liver-related diseases of traditional Chinese medicine
The diseases closely related to the liver caused by the cervical vertebra belong to the"combined diseases"of"tendon diseases"and"emotional diseases".The liver connects physiologically with tendons in controlling conveyance and dispersion, and acts to regulate emotions. If the liver qi gets stagnated and cannot move smoothly, emotions may get depressed,qi and blood may get stagnated and coagulated, and the muscles and meridians will be weakened.Modern studies have found that the liver-related diseases such as hypertension, insomnia, and depression are associated with the brain-sympathetic nerve symptoms caused by cervical dislocation. Therefore, based on the physiological function characteristics of the liver, this paper discusses the correlation between cervical vertebra and liver-related diseases,in a bid to provide new ideas for the future clinical diagnosis and treatment of spine-related diseases.
